Havlir I
have the delight this month of interviewing sensual romance author,
Beverly Havlir.
Tell us about yourself in 50 words or less. I've been married for 17 years and the mother of two very active teenagers who drive me crazy. I'm addicted to coffee, erotic/romantic books, chocolate and movies. I prefer receiving a backrub over flowers any day and treasure quiet, intimate moments at home with my husband. If you could be any other writer, who would it be and why? I'd love to be a huge success like Nora Roberts What are your writing plans for this year and what have you done most recently? In a perfect world, I would have a new release every month. What is the process you use when you first start to write a story-or do you use any process at all? (You plot out the scenes, outline the story, etc.) If you could do it differently, how would you do it? I wish I could say that I plot out scenes and write an outline. I usually get a germ of an idea, a story that grabs me and I just go with it. I see scenes in my head and I write it. On a good day, the words flow and its smooth sailing. Other days, I have to step away and clear my head. Needless to say, if I could do things differently, I would be more methodical and outline plot and characters and scenes etc. I guess I just march to a different drum.

cup cocoa Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat chocolate and butter in pan over low heat, stirring constantly until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in all remaining ingredients except the chocolate syrup. Grease or spray a 13" x 9" cake pan. Spread batter into pan and drizzle preferred amount of chocolate syrup over batter.
