Reviews for Jingle's Belle in the anthology Nicely Naughty
from Loose Id:
Anthology Rating: 5 Cups!
"Jingle and Bel are unique characters with very intriguing personalities.
The story has humorous moments that make this book a light fun read
that I hated to see end. The love scenes are very detailed and appropriate
to the storyline. The setting is well described and very enjoyable.
... She uses her wonderfully creative imagination to create an elf
unlike any I have ever seen before. Jingle's Belle is a great read."

Jingle's Belle Rating: 4/5 Stars!
"Jingle's Belle is one of those stories that will touch you, make
you sigh, and want to read it again as soon as you reach the words
'The End'. ...touching and a true holiday treat for all lovers of
erotic romance, bearing just the right amount of emotion and sex
to make it one spicy and delightful read that will leave you with
a warm fuzzy feeling inside. If you are in the mood for holiday
romantic holiday treat with a touch of holiday magic, this one is
certainly a must read. This book is one of my favorite 'feel good'
reads."

Jennifer Dunne

"South Beach Submissive, probably my favorite novella in R.S.V.P.,
is enough to whet my appetite to go out and do some e-book shopping
this weekend. I'm now a Jennifer Dunne fan, folks. Sexy, titillating,
and scintillating are not near enough to describe this incredibly
erotic tale of a heartthrob who's more than willing to introduce
an open-minded woman to the secret pleasures of BDSM. For an extra
special stocking stuffer this holiday season, make sure R.S.V.P.
is added to your Christmas wish list. It's a gift that keeps on
giving!"
-- Amy Cunningham for Romance Reviews Today
"Recommended Read. Five Angels. Ms. Adair, Ms. Oh, and Ms. Dunne
have written stories that show women who are willing to give their
submissive side a chance to grow and know themselves better. That,
even though they are submissive, they are not door mats, but strong
independent women who find their one man who brings out the side
of them that only that man can. These characters are loving, caring
and honest in their feelings for each other. When the readers read
these stories, they won't want any disruptions. These aren't heavy
B & D stories, even though they have that tie in, but these are
more about the caring side of a B & D relationship. I highly recommend
this book. "
-- Donna for Fallen Angel Reviews
"Four and a half Stars. You are cordially invited to enter into
the lifestyles of three scorchingly submissive women and the three
men who masterfully dominate their bodies, hearts, and souls. No
'R.S.V.P.' required, but do dress comfortably for the occasion as
the BDSM lifestyle you are about to enter into may heat your blood
to temperatures well above your comfort level. Sassy is exactly
what her name implies...sassy. She's a very fun, witty, and humorous
character who really puts everything she's got into exploring her
newfound submissiveness. Very alpha-male Michael is definitely up
for the challenge of making Sasha's, a.k.a. Sassy, first submissive
experience one that will ensnare her body and soul. He is so absolutely
yummy that I wouldn't mind him teaching me a thing or two, or three
or four, about being sexually submissive to his masterful loving.
These three wonderfully written stories will give you a very fulfilling
and tasty morsel of the BDSM lifestyle, but if you are anything
like me they will have you craving more! A woman's sexual submissiveness
is all too often viewed as a weakness, but I think these authors
masterfully portrayed the strength and courage of these three very
strong and independent women who choose the sexually submissive
lifestyle. "
-- Christine for eCataRomance Reviews
"Four Hearts. R.S.V.P is an anthology filled with a great
mix of erotic BDSM and romance. Each story was very unique and had
not only a great plot, very erotic love scenes, but also very real
and very intriguing characters. [Each] story was an appealing read
that is sure to become a favorite for any reader of the BDSM genre.
This is definitely one anthology you won't want to miss if you enjoy
explicit sex, whether it's the ordinary missionary style or the
more adventurous anal sex, with the added bonus of very intriguing
storylines. "

Review for "Taming Alex"
5 Hearts! Taming Alex is the sequel to Ms. Havlir's The Abduction
of Emma and proves to pack the same amount of intense emotion and
hot sex as her first. I like how Ms. Havlir starts the story with
a strong connection between Alex and Ethan. Alex is a woman who
takes charge and isn't afraid to say what's on her mind, both blunt
and honest with Ethan about her feelings. However, Ethan challenges
Alex to go beyond her fears and to live her own life, irrespective
of her mother's many failed marriages. Ethan has just the right
amount of arrogance, dominance and tenderness to win Alex over.
They are an explosive couple. I thoroughly enjoyed this second offering
from Ms. Havlir and I encourage you to pick up the first as well.
Taming Alex provides great emotion, lots of hot sex and great storyline
in a decent sized quickie.

personality traits. Their relationship begins a little differently
than most but is very interesting to read about. The love scenes

3. Siren of the Month: Cassie Walder
Interviewed by Treva Harte
Tell us
about yourself in 50 words or less.
My life revolves around taking care of my family; husband, children,
and Alzheimer patient Mother-in-law who lives with us.
If you could be any other writer, who would it be and why?
When my life is over, God will only judge me on whether I was
the best ME I could be. I have no desire to be anyone else. Which
is just as well, because I don't think I could find anyone to
trade lives with me.
What are your writing plans for this year and what have you done
most recently?
As of this moment, I have six releases happening in 2005. I have
a further eight novels under contract that may be out late 2005
or in 2006. My most recent release was from Changeling Press,
a little time travel called Once Again Love. It's
a fun story that's gotten good reviews. In January, Abbatoir
will come out from Triskelion. That's a paranormal horror romance
with heat, the premiere tale in their THE SUMMONING series. I
guarantee that one will scare the pants off you as Jack the Ripper
returns and is up to his old tricks in search for immortality.
In April, I'll be one of the launch authors for a new line, HeatWave
Romances which is an imprint of Awe-Struck, with a TINGLE (what
they call their short tales) entitled Love's Duty.
So far the advance quotes have been good about that. Diane Whiteside
said, "Only Cassie Walder can bring such emotional truth to life.
You'll cheer for her characters - and remember this book for a
long time to come." Then I have two erotic paranormal horror stories
coming out from eXtasy in 2005; vampires, werewolves, strong heroines,
and lots of sex. The titles are WolfBane and Sugar. They're different
from anything else I've ever written. In the spring, a gothic
romance called "The Devlin Diaries" will also be coming out from
Triskelion. And in September, I have a dragon romance, The Bloodstone
Cure, in an anthology coming out from Whiskey Creek Press. As
several other pieces are under consideration at other houses,
I expect that there will be more releases this year, or next,
depending on the publishing schedules of the various houses.
What is the process you use when you first start to write a story-or
do you use any process at all? If you could do it differently,
how would you do it?
I generally start a novel with an idea, a character, or a plot
element. Sometimes, I have a scene in my head about which I'll
build a novel. Then I do my research-- anything that's important
to the story I double and triple check. At times, I literally
sit down with pen and ink, or pastels, along with a good sketch
pad and draw of my major characters to figure out what they look
like. I've been known to draw up architectural drawings when that's
been essential to the story. The bookcases nearest my computer
are loaded with basic references in areas ranging from architecture
to foreign language grammars to zoology. I spend a lot of time
searching the internet. When my research is mostly done, I write
a treatment of the story, working out the major plot elements
and characterizations. Sometimes, during the writing of the treatment,
I will do more research. Over the last twenty years or so, I've
tried several methods for beginning novels. This is what works
for me.
Since it's the new year, have you made any resolutions?
Diet. Don't we always diet at the beginning of the year? Strange
word, diet. I remember back in Eighth Grade, picking up a history
book and reading the chapter title, "Luther refuses to submit
to Diet of Worms." Thought he was a remarkable intelligent man
for that. LOL. Okay, it's official, I'm answering these questions
at midnight when I've been up since four a.m.. I'm tired. This
is life. I'd love to actually get more than three hours sleep
out of each twenty-four. I wish I could have made that a resolution.
If it were possible, I would. But, there's an Alzheimer's patient
in the house. Just like living with a baby, a woman's sleep schedule
is at the mercy of the one being cared for. If she doesn't sleep,
I don't. And she doesn't sleep much, as a rule.
What's something you haven't done yet that you've always wanted
to do?
Besides win the lottery? LOL. Oh, geez, I'd love to take two weeks,
go check into a writer's retreat center, and sleep solid for the
first 72, make that 96, hours. No. That's as practical of a wish
as winning the lottery.
You meant something professionally I've wanted to do that I haven't,
though didn't you?
I write in a number of genres. I keep kicking around writing a
piece of comedy horror, something that would have the reader shivering
in fear one minute then rolling on the floor laughing the next.
I might do that one of these days. The truth is there are always
new stories to tell, new directions to take. The simple truth
is I have no idea what I'll be writing after my current contracts
are filled. All I know is that I will be writing.
I just want to keep giving the public good books that let them
escape, if only for a little while, from their problems. In a
nutshell, that's what I do. It's what all writers do; create a
little bolt hole for people to slide into, an escape from their
reality into one we create. I'm very lucky that I actually make
money doing something that I love. And I owe it all to the readers.
Thank you, Readers, for letting me entertain you.

Titania Ladley
http:www.titanialadleyromance.com
As a lover of both yummy sweets and steaming romances, I often combine
the two and stir them into my plots as I write. Oh, you don't actually
have to do them in real life. It's all in good fun! Just reading

those juices flowing. So, if you like your stories spiced up with
imaginative fun for the hero and heroine, this will be the column
to ring in your 2005 reading pleasure. Each month, I'll take a new
Siren and feature her book(s) that include Reading, Food & Inventive
Fun. That way, you know right where to go for those tempting morsels!

Myghal was taken by pleasant surprise when Kerry pressed her lips
to his. He knew she found him a curiosity, but she hadn't seemed
particularly attracted to him—until this moment. He had begun
to think he'd ruined everything by not reciting the entire incantation,
and that the dust had landed him with Kerry at random. But as she
deepened the kiss, sliding her lips over his, slipping her arm around
his neck, he knew she was his perfect match, the other half of his
heart. He could feel it the same way he could sense what the plants
wanted.
His cock thought so, too, a painful, throbbing reminder that he'd
been imprisoned at Castle Faer for two moons without female companionship
of any kind. By the time Malthe and Sirrin had rescued him, even
the female Faerie guards were starting to look good.
How would it be with Kerry? he wondered. Need always drove him,
the physical need he had no control over, and the emotional need
as well, just as uncontrollable but impossible to slake. While he
always found physical release, he'd never found an emotional connection
with any Pixie female he'd fucked. Would it be different with Kerry?
Pixie lore said that coupling with the other half of his heart would
be an experience like no other.
If this melding of lips and mingling of breaths were indications,
then he didn't need to worry at all.
Kerry's other hand slid down his chest, brushing his nipple, and
his sac tightened. He twirled the chair around so that she faced
him and knelt, fitting himself between her legs. He rested his hands
on her thighs, and she drew in a deep, sudden breath through her
nose.
Myghal pushed his tongue between her parted lips, as his hands glided
up her thighs. His thumbs met where the seams of the material came
together and was sewn into a thick bump. He pressed in, rubbing
in circles, and Kerry moaned into his mouth, her lips trembling
against his. He continued the pressure and the circles until her
hips thrust back and forth, rocking her clit into his thumbs in
a constant rhythm.
He felt the tension build in her, felt her excitement escalate.
Her breathing deepened and her lips went lax. She laid her head
on his shoulder and put both arms around him. She was nearing her
peak, and he wanted to join her, to peel the jeans from her long
legs and drive his cock into her hot wetness.
He shook and his knees grew weak at the mental image of fucking
Kerry, but he managed to restrain himself. Kerry needed this as
a gradual acceptance of their intimacy. If he tried to do more,
the interruption might make her think twice about letting a stranger
touch her like this, and she might refuse any further closeness.
Without physical intimacy, he had little chance of convincing Kerry
to travel to another dimension and marry him.
When her rhythm increased and little noises escaped her throat,
Myghal knew it was almost time. He gentled the pressure of his thumbs,
making her move into him harder. With only a few more strokes, her
hips bucked and he felt her hands fist in the material of his tunic.
She moaned, one long, low vibration that sounded like the sweetest
music he'd ever heard and almost did him in, then her body went
limp against him. He removed one hand and put his arm around her,
caressing the long hank of hair down her back while his other thumb
continued to massage the tender spot.
Gradually, her hands released his tunic, but she didn't move from
his embrace. After a few moments, she cleared her throat.
"I-I'm sorry, I don't know what--"
"Shhh, don't be sorry," he said soothingly. "I only wanted to make
you feel good."
She laughed, but it was a small sound and almost ended on a sob.
She did pull away from him, then, wiping her eyes, but not meeting
his. "It did feel good, Myghal. But I don't know why I let you do
that. Especially here, in the middle of the day. Oh, my God, anybody
could have walked in."
"But they didn't," he said and brushed strands of hair from her
face. He placed a finger under her chin, compelling her to look
at him. Her blue eyes were luminous with tears, and her cheeks were
flushed with embarrassment. He was relieved to find no regret in
her warm gaze.
She drew away from his touch and stood, a hand on her desk until
she was steady. He was still kneeling and his face was now in an
interesting location. If she were naked, he could have buried his
tongue in her pussy easily. She seemed to suddenly become aware
of this and her eyes grew wide. She stepped around and away from
him.
He pushed himself to his feet with difficulty. His stiff cock made
maneuvering a challenge if he didn't want to hurt himself. His weakened
knees threatened to buckle, and, like Kerry, he used the desk for
support until he was sure he could stand and walk.
"I have to go..." and she waved in the general direction of the
restroom. Then she kissed him, quickly, but with meaning. "I owe
you one."
Then she was gone. He was almost in pain from the hard-on, but he
grinned. He had Kerry's promise to take care of that problem. He
just didn't know when.

Coming Soon from Ellora's Cave
John had not
dreamt of the woman who'd invaded his darkness since he left his
father's castle, but she appeared to him again in his room in the
inn. All the ale he'd consumed should have guaranteed a quick ease
into sleep, and his companions each snored loudly within seconds
of lying down on their pallets. But he tossed a few times, seeking
comfort in his softer mattress, and found only restless dread.
As he lay on his back, staring into the darkness, she came again,
appearing once more as a bare, graceful white phantom that hovered
over him.
The smile that lit her face lent it a glimmering beauty, yet it
also suggested a hint of cruelty. "So, my prince, you are indeed
coming to me. Have you accepted yet that you will be mine?"
Breath almost deserted him, but he managed to force out a bare syllable.
"No."
She shrugged with arch sadness. "It will be harder for you if you
resist. Give yourself over to me and find so much more."
"I can't." Somehow the words made it past the obstruction in his
throat.
"But you're coming to me. Why will you not submit to me?"
"I have…a mission."
"Of course. The lance."
"You'll keep me from it."
She stopped and looked startled for a moment before she laughed
gently again. "Not so. Not at all so. I can tell you no more of
that. Only that I am your destiny and you are mine." She moved closer
to him.
He cringed when she bent down, but it didn't stop her from brushing
her lips softly across his forehead and down his cheek. The fire
lit in his flesh and ran along his veins again. Wicked shards of
mixed pain and pleasure shredded his insides. Only fear of waking
his companions kept him from crying out aloud. Yet he wanted to
reach up and grab her, to bring her hot, moist lips to his own and
feel the heart-stopping shock that more intimate contact would bring.
"You'll learn to bear my touch," she said. "Even to welcome it."
He shook his head.
"You think not? You must. You fear me and what I bring you? Even
if I tell you it's necessary?"
For a moment he lay still, wanting to deny it. "Coward," he muttered,
finally, making the admission and hating himself for voicing it.
She laughed gently and shook her head in denial this time. "You
have courage. It simply lacks exercise to strengthen it."
She lay her fingers on his belly and it felt as though hot knives
dug in there. Yet his cock sprang to life and something in him welcomed
the fire. It burned him as it fed on his cowardice, eating at it.
She smiled, almost as though she knew his thoughts. "You'll learn
to welcome my embrace." She slid the tips of her fingers down his
abdomen.
"You'll destroy me."
Again she paused. "No. Never."
"You'll hurt me."
Her head tipped a bit to one side. "I'll hurt you. But it won't
harm you." She drew a harsh breath. "Can you find any comfort in
knowing you'll hurt me far more? And again cause no harm."
"No. I don't wish to hurt anyone."
Her stare turned to a puzzled frown. "You're a prince and will be
a king someday. Do you truly believe you can rule well without having
to harm some? Will justice not sometimes demand harshness from you?"
"Surely. But the cases are different."
One black eyebrow slid upward, a sharply angled contrast to her
pale skin. "Perhaps not so different as you think. But you'll learn.
You're coming to me."
"I don't--"
She wrapped her hand around his cock. Lightning bolts swept through
him. He saw flashes and starry bursts. His body heaved in a great
convulsion too deep and strong to allow even a groan to exit. His
cock spurted and the fierce pleasure all but drowned him.
"Sleep well, my prince," she said, just before she faded into the
darkness again.

"You're a kind
man, Mike."
He smiled, his eyes glowing with mischief. "Women rarely say that
to me."
She sighed. That was something she could believe. Too often, she
ignored the air of danger he wore. The sensuality surrounding him,
however, was something that she was reminded of every time she was
within a hundred yards of him. She tried to ignore that, as well.
But she was only human. Some things were simply impossible. Ignoring
how much she wanted him was quickly becoming one of those.
"Just because the tiger shows a smiling face is not any reason to
assume the teeth aren't sharp," she teased him.
Mike looked at her and shook his head in dismissal. "My teeth are
not nearly as sharp as they seem and nowhere near as sharp as your
mind."
"Flattery, Mike, isn't a good thing."
"It isn't flattery. Just an observation. We shall have to resume
our Saturday afternoon chess games. I've missed them. Observing
your mind is a wonder."
"You mean it's a wonder that I have a mind," she teased him.
"I most assuredly do not," Mike told her, his voice a bit offended.
"That was supposed to be a joke."
"Humor in English sometimes escapes me," he said, his voice a little
on the sheepish side.
"Yeah right," Mariah said with a smile as she continued to run.
"Tell me about what's really bothering you."
She sighed heavily as she ran on. "It's going to rain."
"You're hedging."
"How astute of you to notice."
He stopped and took her by the arm, turning her to face him.
This was the first time he'd ever touched her in the years they
had known each other. She swallowed hard. He wasn't hurting her.
His grasp was firm, yet gentle. But his touch, his closeness, made
her ache, in all the ways a man can make a woman ache for him. Her
breath caught in her throat as she saw desire, hunger, flash through
his eyes so quickly that she almost doubted she had seen it. But
she had seen it, and seen the evidence of his self-control kicking
in quickly, but kicking in anyway.
Her breasts felt suddenly heavy. A sudden influx of moisture dampened
her panties as she felt her body ready itself for intimacy. No man's
touch had ever turned her on so fast, not even John's. Unless she
wanted to make a total fool of herself right here on the street,
knowing that she was being watched, she needed to back away from
Mike, now.
* * *
Mike fought back the smile he felt as he saw the desire in her eyes.
He wanted to pull her into his arms and kiss her, kiss her as she
had never been kissed. She wouldn't deny him anything. The passion
in her eyes, the way she had reacted to the simplest, most innocent,
of touches said that she was open and available to him. He'd wanted
her for years, since that first moment Emily had introduced them.
But, she hadn't ever shown any interest in him as a man. Over the
years, he'd learned something about her self-control. He also knew
now she could be his for the taking.
How he wanted her! He could take her to places that she had never
been, could show her such pleasure to dwarf all pleasures she might
have ever known until now. But no, they needed more than a few fleeting
hours of passion when she was hurting and vulnerable. It would be
too easy for her to dismiss this as momentary insanity brought on
by her grief. If he ever had her in his bed, he wouldn't easily
let her go. Definitely, he didn't want her to have any excuse to
walk away from him. When he had her in his bed, now that he knew
it would be a when instead of an if, this would be something that
would mark the beginning of a loving forever.
He had never felt possessive about any woman until she had come
into his life. He'd run or worked out with her first thing every
morning just to keep her safe. He remembered all too well the fear
that he had felt that first morning she had lived in the basement
apartment as he realized that she was out running by herself before
dawn, even in this relatively safe neighborhood. So, he'd started
running with her. He'd hoped that would be enough of a signal to
the dangerous ones that this woman was in his keeping and that they'd
answer to him for any harm that came to her.
That had apparently worked as she'd never come to the least bit
of harm on any of their runs. During the years they had run together,
he had come to love her for her kindness, her gentleness, and for
that utter capability and willingness to work hard. Until this morning,
he had never let himself touch her, knowing that it would be beyond
difficult to keep himself under control if she ever showed him the
least hint of desire.
Now, because he loved her more than he thought he could ever love
anyone, he had to back off. Knowing she wanted him, he would give
her time to heal, time to get over the man she had loved, time to
be ready to love again. And when she was ready to love again, he'd
be there for her. But this was not the proper time. He needed to
back off until she was ready, if he didn't want to lose her. He
could win this battle of passion by taking her somewhere and loving
her until she screamed in climax again and again, but doing that
right now would lose the war of winning her undying love. She wasn't
heart whole and ready to move on with her life, yet. He could give
her time.
